65 Marquis Flybridge 2005 Details:
Despite its low price, "NEW DAWN II" is equipped better than any other 65' Marquis on the market, including: A 1,000 lb. hydraulic swim platform plus an 1,100 lb. upper level davit so you can haul all your toys! Two generators, an inverter and a 400 gallon/day water-maker allowing you to stay "on-the-hook" for so long as you desire. All new touch screen Garmin chart plotters, both up and down, simplifying your navigation. Both bow and stern thrusters, plus a wireless "Yacht Controller" which allows full control of throttles and thrusters from anywhere on the boat making docking and grabbing a mooring ball a piece of cake avoiding any spousal discord. A two-person hot tub to relax and enjoy those beautiful sunsets over a chilled glass of wine. A brand new reliable center console RIB with 50 hp Yamaha to make your island explorations and shore excursions fast, easy and safe. And, the biggest and best engines that let you get up and go when needed but only sips your fuel at a 9 knot hull speed.
The listing broker took the opportunity to assist the vessel owner with relocating New Dawn II from Puerto Rico to Fort Lauderdale. We felt that Fort Lauderdale would be a very convenient location for potential buyers and their brokers to view this vessel.
We made the trip between 7-13-2017 and 7-18-2017. With just two fuel stops as well as fair weather and calm seas for “MOST” of the journey, it was a spectacular trip. Our passage was loaded with great views, amazing wildlife and most importantly a vessel that was perfectly equipped to accommodate us and ran flawlessly from throwing off the lines in Palmas Del Mar Marina until we touched our fenders to the dock Marina Bay Marina. Over 1,000 miles of open water, most of which was traveled at 9-10 knots and the large MTU 1,550 hp diesels sharing just 8-12 Gallons of fuel per hour, depending on our speed.
